Muskoka Steamships & Discovery Centre has extended its fall cruising season to Oct. 14 in response to demand. Late cruisers can take advantage of this year’s slow colour change in Gravenhurst area. A warm September has delayed the seasonal changes.
On Oct. 10, two one-hour cruises are offered at 3 and 4:30 p.m. Organizers say this will be an excellent option for photographers, due to the late afternoon light.
On Oct. 11, a one hour cruise sails at 10 a.m. and a 2.5 hour cruise sails at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 12, three cruises are offered – one-hour at 10 a.m., 2.5 hour at 11:30 a.m., and a two-hour cruise at 2:15 p.m.
On Oct. 14, a one hour cruise is available at 10 a.m.
Free admission to the Muskoka Discovery Centre is granted by presenting a cruise ticket.
